Louisiana Chapter of NIGP

The Louisiana Chapter of NIGP is a membership-based, nonprofit organization that provides guidance, support, encouragement, and resources to public procurement professionals throughout the state. It is proudly affiliated with The Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP). The chapter and its members subscribe to the NIGP Code of Ethics and the Values and Guiding Principles of Public Procurement, which are the foundation of the public procurement profession.

OUR MISSION AND GOALS

LANIGP strives to raise and maintain the standards and ethics of all government purchasing and materials management entities by:
  • promoting fair and open competition
  • promoting and fostering professional competence
  • setting academic and professional standards
  • engendering an attitude among all members to accomplish our mission with loyalty to the organization and with fairness to all
